Project: The Las Vegas Influence on Absolutely Everything
The neon lights and light-chasing lightbulbs on this casino are absolutely phenomenal. It has a special place in my heart as something very special happened there in 2010. We bought our first condo in Las Vegas! It was the beginning of the big move, although we had no idea at that point. We don't even really know why we did it but is was utterly amazing and our first foothold in the city we loved. I was playing slots when the realtor called, the offer had been accepted!!! I sat there a bit dazed but totally, overwhelmingly happy. The California opened in 1975 at a cost of $10M. It has a Hawiian theme, Sam Boyd worked hard to build connections with Hawaii, and it is sometimes known as the 9th Island. He charted flights for holiday makers from Honolulu and made them feel really at home with the Hawaiian décor.
The print looks great framed either in a 5"x7" or an 8"x10" with mount, picture frame. At that size it is very easy to hang, and only needs a tiny nail to hold it up. This is also a great way to collect multiple pieces of Zoë's art to hang on your walls, and you will be able to admire them all day long!
The print is on 400gsm, coated-on-the-print-side, card. The back has no coating, there's plenty of room for a message so you could write on it, and send it to a friend :^)
